| title: | linux dvb DViCO FusionHDTV DVB T Lite |
|
Hi,
I am trying to get my dvb card running but i just doesnt work and I am
running out of ideas. Im using gentoo and tried the current kernel
which is 2.6.13-gentoo-r5 and also 2.6.11 with patches.
The latest attempt was to get 2.6.14.2 kernel sources, apply the
v4l-kernel and dvb-kernel CVS sources and build everything like its
described in rel="nofollow" linuxtv.org/v4lwiki/index.php/How_to_build_from_CVS linuxtv.org/v4lwiki/index.php/How_to_build_from_CVS .
I am sure that the card has a Thomson 7579 tuner rather than a Philips.
Its written on the can: DTT 7579
This is an Australian card and were using PAL over here.
This is what happens:
# modprobe bttv
bttv: driver version 0.9.16 loaded
bttv: using 8 buffers with 2080k (520 pages) each for capture
bttv: Bt8xx card found (0).

I tried modprobe bttv tuner=42 but the result is the same:
linuxtv-dvb-apps-1.1.0/util/szap/tzap "Digital"
using /dev/dvb/adapter0/frontend0 and /dev/dvb/adapter0/demux0
tuning to 177500000 Hz

status 1f | signal a6bf | snr c2c2 | ber 00000000 | unc 00000000 | FE_HAS_LOCK
and so on..
but cat /dev/dvb/adapter0/dvr0 is just empty
Any Ideas how to get that thing running?
Here are some more outputs:
